The answer to inventory mis-management: A data-driven solution that creates value out of chaos

FRIDAY, JUNE 10  |  10:45 – 12:30  |  Seminar Room 2B

Secure your seat and be informed on how SparesCNX solution gives shipping companies clarity on what exactly is onboard fleet wide, which exact location each part exists, and the consumption patterns around these parts.

You will learn how once these questions are addressed your company will greatly improve cash flow management regarding spares.

Short Description

The presentation will address the inventory and spare-part management issues that exist in the shipping industry and showcase solutions to eliminate them. Inventory management is one of the most manual and operational workflows in the shipping industry and a lack of complete solution leads to inaccurate data making shipping companies overstock massively. This leads to significant carrying costs and spare part ageing and degradation problems.

The presentation will showcase how the AI and ML powered solution - “ PROPELLER” - by SCNX has already made a substantial impact on over 50 vessels and saved over 25% of annual procurement costs. In addition PROPELLER’s simplicity of use and data accuracy is leading to better working conditions for engineers and smarter business decisions for procurement personnel.
